Trantec S4.04T UHF Theatre Headset System (Channel 70)
The Trantec S4.04T UHF Theatre Headset System (Channel 70), has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the theatre market, with a kit that can also be used in any application that requires crystal clear and faithful audio reproduction – combined with the most discrete microphone solution. Using the very high quality, Trantec HM-22 Headband Microphone, the system will provide the highest quality audio but will be virtually unseen.
The microphone support band can be hidden from view round the back of the head and easily tucked into the hair. The robust material allows the microphone to be manipulated into the perfect placement and the frequency response is tailored for close proximity speech and vocal use. The sensitive microphone capsule is protected from the ingress of moisture and the protection membrane can be easily replaced.
The kit as standard will be supplied with a ‘pink’ microphone but a black option is also available. The S4.04T systems includes the S4.04-BTX Belt Pack Transmitter and can provide approximately 10 hours of use from a single AA alkaline battery. This will provide more that enough time for even the most lengthy of performances. Transmitting to the S4.04-RX receiver is done via licence free UHF frequencies in the CH70 range and the receiver has multiple outputs to allow easy connection to the sound system. Connection to microphone inputs is from a balanced 3 pin XLR with a secondary line level output being made available via a 6.3mm (1/4″) jack connection.
Due to the vast amount of equipment this system will work with it does not come with any leads to connect the receiver to the sound system so check to make sure you have a lead already or simply add one to your basket from our associated products list. There is a dedicated Trantec Carry Case available too for the transmitter, power supply and receiver although the foam insert would need modified to fit the HM22 in as well but we do know people who have done it without too much difficulty.
