The Adastra COM47 is ideal for conferences or meetings as it is a Gooseneck Microphone with a flexible stem. It comes with a base and an XLR to XLR lead. The high quality back-electret condenser microphone capsule does need to draw power from the base.

However this can come either from external phantom power through the XLR or via 2 x AAA batteries, offering compatibility even if you have a system which can’t provide phantom power. There is an electronic latching switch on the base which allows you to turn the microphone on and off, so that it can be deactivated when it isn’t required.

This switch also activates the LED collar, which illuminates in red so that you’ll know when you’re “on air” and everyone can hear you!
